  • If you are an Interior Designer and have passed the NCIDQ exam, you qualify as an IIDA Professional Member.

  • If you are an Interior Designer with a minimum of two years formal interior design education, and are not NCIDQ certified, you qualify as an IIDA Associate Member.

  • Educators enhance the careers of future generations of Interior Designers. If you are a full-time instructor, department chair, or adjunct professor in a post-secondary program of Interior Design at any university or accredited school of Interior Design, we invite you to join IIDA as a Profession or Associate Member at a reduced membership rate.

  • IIDA Student Membership provides students enrolled in an Interior Design program the resources they need for educational and professional development that are not available on campus. These benefits are exclusive to IIDA Student Members and give aspiring Interior Designers unique opportunities to build professional connections that extend well after graduation.

  • An Industry Membership is designed to enhance your networking relationships with IIDA Members and Chapters, as well as with Interior Designers and Students at Chapter programs and events. Companies joining as Industry Members are allowed 3 to 20 Industry Reps as part of their membership, giving you further access to different Chapters around the world.

  • International Dual Membership and International Membership reflects the Association’s international focus. These membership levels allow you to take advantage of membership benefits and networking opportunities wherever you are located.

  • If you are an Architect actively engaged in the profession of Interior Design, you qualify as a Professional Member.

  • If you are actively engaged in a field other than Interior Design such as landscape architecture, lighting design, or architectural photography, you can join IIDA as an Affiliate Member.
